Check valve + minimum pressure ¾″ for the compressor

Combined Valve (Check + Minimum Pressure) — is a multifunctional safety valve ¾″ for screw compressor up to 11 kW oil-injected type, installed at the outlet of the air-oil separator or on the pressure discharge line up to 2.5 cubic meters. The valve automatically closes when the network pressure is greater than that inside the compressor and opens when the pressure drops below 4.5 bar.

We offer high-quality angle threaded minimum pressure valves made of anodized cast aluminum; with oil and high-temperature resistant Viton seals. Manufacturer's declared lifespan — about 8000 hours.

The minimum pressure valve is responsible for these functions:

• Protects the line during start-up until reaching working values. During start-up, the valve does not open immediately but holds the compressed air inside the compressor, allowing pressure to equalize with the outlet. This reduces the load on the core of the air-oil separator, ensures normal flow rate and effective oil-air separation;
• Prevents reverse flow of air-oil. When the compressor is stopped or idling, the valve prevents the air-oil mixture from flowing back to the screw pair;
• Ensures compressor oil circulation. Compressor units lack an oil pump – it moves due to pressure differences. Therefore, in idle mode (intake valve closed), maintaining a minimum excess pressure ~4.5 bar is essential for continued lubrication of the screw block;
