Check valve + minimum pressure 1″ for the compressor

Combined Valve (Check + Minimum Pressure) is a multifunctional safety valve 1″ for screw compressors up to 30 kW oil-filled type, installed at the air-oil separator outlet or in the discharge air line up to 5 cubic metres. The valve is automatically closed when the network pressure exceeds that inside the compressor and when the pressure drops below 4.5 bar.

We offer high-quality angular threaded minimum pressure valves made from anodised cast aluminium with oil-resistant and high-temperature seals Viton. The manufacturer's declared service life is approximately 8000 hours.

Minimum Pressure Valve is Responsible for the Following Functions:

• Protects the line during startup until reach operational values. During startup, the valve does not open immediately but holds compressed air inside the compressor, allowing the pressure to equalise with the output. This reduces the load on the core of the air-oil separator, ensures the normal flow speed and effective oil separation from the air;
• Prevents reverse air-oil flow. When the compressor is turned off or idling, the valve prevents the reverse flow of air-oil mixture back to the screw pair;
• Ensures compressor oil circulation. Compressor units lack a lubricant pump—lubrication moves due to pressure difference. Therefore, during idle running (intake valve closed), it is vital to maintain a minimum excess pressure of ~4.5 bar for continued screw block lubrication;
