Jaw coupling with an elastic element Ø78x113 mm is a typical part for repairing a compressor, vacuum pump, or other drive mechanism. This connecting coupling has a power transmission efficiency of 98%, compensates for slight misalignment of two shafts, and suppresses vibrations for smooth operation, thus protecting the electric motor and rotating mechanism parts.

Jaw couplings with an elastic star consist of the following parts:

• steel three-prong hub for the smaller shaft Ø35 mm with a key 10 mm;
• similar hub with a bore for the larger shaft Ø38 mm with a key 10 mm;
• urethane (PU) rubber gear crown.

Unlike cheap analogs that use aluminum three-prong hubs and a star (spider) made of SOX/NBR, our Specialist jaw couplings are made from strong and durable materials — steel and PU, which can transmit higher torque and last longer.
