Compact short-stroke pneumatic cylinder of the SC-ADV series

Compact short-stroke pneumatic cylinders of double-acting type with a single-sided rod and no built-in damper, SC-ADV series by "Specialist", are manufactured with piston diameters up to 100 mm, equipped with a magnet on the piston as standard, and with inner threading on the rod. These types of cylinders are often found on machines manufactured in China.

Short-stroke ADV pneumatic cylinders feature an aluminium sleeve with T-slots on the body, allowing for easy sensor installation.

Short-stroke ADV pneumatic cylinders are available in several types:

• Double-acting pneumatic cylinders with single-acting rod SC-ADV (standard) feature two ports for pneumatic line connection. Air pressure in the rodless cavity (rear cap side) extends the rod, while pressure release and air supply from the opposite side (rod side, rod cavity) retracts the rod. The rod can only extend forwards, with a closed cap on the other end.

• Double-acting pneumatic cylinders with single-acting rod and anti-rotation platform SC-ADR share the same design and operation mode as SC-ADV cylinders.
• Double-acting pneumatic cylinders with through rod SC-ADVD (on request) have two ports for pneumatic line connection, with both cavities being rod cavities.
• Single-acting pneumatic cylinders SC-ADS with return spring in rod cavity (on request) ensure rod extension upon pressure release. The cylinder has one port for pneumatic line connection. When compressed air is supplied to the rodless cavity, the rod extends. Stroke length of ADS cylinders must not exceed 50 mm.
• Single-acting pneumatic cylinders ADSS with return spring in rodless cavity (on request) ensure rod extension upon pressure release. The cylinder has one port for pneumatic line connection. When compressed air is supplied to the rod end, the rod retracts. Stroke length of ADSS cylinders must not exceed 50 mm.
• Single-acting pneumatic cylinders SC-ADSD (on request) share the design and operation mode of ADS pneumatic cylinders with return spring in the rod end.

Upon request, based on this series, we also combine tandem pneumatic cylinders "ADV2", trim cylinders "ADV3", multi-position cylinders with 3 or 4 fixed positions "ADM3" and "ADM4" respectively.
