Aluminium brake resistor ALR-750-80 is a type of brake resistor with 80 W power and 750 Ohm resistance, using aluminium materials for its construction. This type of resistor generally consists of aluminium heat sinks and resistive elements made from special aluminium alloys with a high resistance coefficient.
The primary purpose of aluminium brake resistors is the same as other types of brake resistors - dissipating excess energy generated during the braking of electric motors with power up to 0.75 kW, controlled by frequency inverters. When the inverter activates the motor braking, the 80 W aluminium brake resistor is used to dissipate this energy as heat.
Aluminium brake resistors are widely used in electrical motor control systems of 220 V and 380 V, where effective braking and energy dissipation are required.
