Description
Three-phase Motor Choke 600A, 380V, 280 kW, 0.012 mH OCL-0600-012U-0.4SA is installed at the output of the frequency converter to filter the current supplied to 380 V three-phase electric motors. The purpose of the output electric choke is as follows:
- Creation of inductive resistance that limits the motor's power supply current, thus preventing overload and damage;
- Prevention of sharp current spikes during motor startup that may cause equipment failure;
- Cleansing the current waveform from unwanted high harmonics (high-frequency noise) inherent in electric drives.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the frequency converter and the asynchronous motor to enhance the power supply quality of the drive, as well as to ensure safe and long-term operation of the equipment.
