Description
Three-phase motor choke 1600A, 380V, 630kW, 0.0043 mH OCL-1600-04U3-0.4SA is installed at the output of the frequency converter to filter the current supplied to three-phase 380 V electric motors. The purpose of the output motor choke is as follows:
- Creating an inductive resistance that limits the motor supply current, thus preventing overload and damage;
- Preventing sharp current spikes during motor start-up, which can fail the equipment;
- Cleaning the current sinusoid from unwanted high harmonics (high-frequency noise) occurring in the electric drive.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the inverter and the asynchronous motor to improve drive power quality and ensure safe and long-term equipment operation.
