Compact pneumatic cylinders of the SC-AND series are piston pneumatic actuators that operate under compressed air pressure within the range of 0.1 to 0.9 MPa (1 to 9 bar). They perform gradual extension-retraction movement, with a stroke length up to 500 mm (inclusive) and a maximum force of 780 N (depending on the selected piston diameter and system pressure). The rod can have internal or external threading.
These pneumatic cylinders are manufactured following the international standard — ISO 21287:2004. Thanks to the standardised fitting and dimensional sizes, pneumatic cylinders of the AND series can be used to replace actuating mechanisms from other manufacturers (which are also made according to ISO 21287). Unlike the old SC-JDA series, these cylinders are assembled with higher quality components.
The body of the pneumatic cylinder AND has a rectangular profile with T-shaped grooves for installing reed switches and common cover attachment with covered screws. Rubber washers on the piston are used as a damper.
