The functional and compact scalar frequency inverter SPLC-NLP1000-55G4 is designed for connection to a three-phase network 380 V and to control three-phase asynchronous motors with a power of up to 55 kW. This frequency inverter can control pumps, conveyor belts, and various machines thanks to fine tuning of engine start and stop, adaptation of the V/f output characteristic to different types of loads, PID regulation, programmable operation by multi-step PLC instruction, and more.
Scalar frequency inverter SPLC-NLP1000-55G4 uses scalar V/f control mode. This mode is relatively simple to set up: precise entry of all machine parameters is not mandatory.
The model of scalar frequency inverter SPLC-NLP1000-55G4 has a protection rating of IP20, so it is recommended to mount the device on a DIN-rail in specialised cabinets to protect against dust and moisture. If necessary, a removable control panel can be connected to the inverter (not included, supplied on order).

Power Circuit of SPLC-NLP1000-55G4 Frequency Inverters:
- Powered by a three-phase network 3-phase 380 V AC at 50/60 Hz;
- Linear output voltage ranges from 0 to 380 V, while frequency spans from 0.1 to 400 Hz;
- Permissible overload for 60 s — up to 150% of the nominal current value (in constant load mode)
Control Circuit SPLC-NLP1000-55G4:
- 4DI — four digital inputs, the function of which can be defined independently through menu selection. For example, a digital input can be used for start command, forward run, reverse, stop, frequency JOG skipping, frequency source switch between X and Y, switch between 16 preset speed frequency values, switch between 4 acceleration and deceleration modes, remote frequency increase/decrease, timer start, PID regulation activation, embedded controller program, etc.
- 1AI — one input, which can be switched using jumper J2 and receive a corresponding analog signal by current 4...20 mA or voltage 0...10 V for setting frequency;
- 1DO — one multifunctional digital output (relay), which can be used for ON-OFF output signal of operational status, reaching frequency or time counter, completion of a PLC program step or cycle;
- RS485 — RS485 serial port connector for integrating in an industrial frequency converter NL, controllers, industrial PCs, etc.
How to Properly Choose a Model of Scalar Three-Phase Converter Series SPLC-NLP1000 380V?
Since the output voltage of SPLC-NLP1000-55G4 is 380 V, the three-phase motors 220/380 V will need to be connected via the "star" winding connection diagram. The engine parameters corresponding to these connections are indicated on its nameplate. The frequency converter model should be chosen so that the nominal current and power table values are greater than the motor parameters.
