Description

The SCBV-Q601-16FA-08 series is a female threaded ball valve size 1/4″, with reduced bore and manual drive, made from AISI 304 stainless steel. These ball valves can be installed on cold and hot water pipes, for steam, for food (drinks, potable water, syrup), industrial pipelines for various petroleum products (without sulphur, chlorine, and other aggressive impurities, and substances incompatible with PTFE).

The reduced bore female threaded ball valve SCBV-Q601-16FA-08 features a narrowing and smaller ball size relative to the pipeline diameter. The body is solid and non-detachable, made of stainless steel 201. Marking on the shut-off valve:

1/4″ (corresponds to DN 8 mm)
304 (grade of stainless steel of the ball)
1000 WOG - designed for water, oils and gaseous substances; maximum pressure - 16 bar (1.6 MPa) (depending on temperature).

The PTFE ball valve with teflon seals withstands working temperatures from minus 40 to 180 degrees Celsius (without fluid freezing).
