The Aluminium Brake Resistor ALR-75-600 is a type of brake resistor with 600W power and 75 Ohm resistance, using aluminium materials for its construction. This type of resistor usually consists of aluminium heat sinks and resistive elements made from special aluminium alloys with a high resistance coefficient.
The main purpose of aluminium brake resistors is the same as other brake resistors - dissipation of excess energy that arises during the braking of electric motors up to 7.5 kW, controlled by frequency inverters. When the inverter activates motor braking, the 600W aluminium brake resistor is used to dissipate this energy in the form of heat.
Aluminium brake resistors are widely used in electric motor control systems with 220V and 380V, where effective braking and dissipation of excess energy is required.
