Description
Three-phase motor choke 120A, 380V, 45kW, 0.058mH OCL-0120-058U-0.4SA is installed at the output of a frequency converter to filter the current supplied to three-phase electric motors 380V. The purpose of the output electric reactor is as follows:
- Creates inductive resistance, which limits the motor's supply current, thus preventing overload and damage;
- Prevents sharp current spikes during motor start-up, which can damage equipment;
- Cleans current sinewave of undesirable high harmonics (high-frequency noises) that arise in the electric drive.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the frequency converter and the asynchronous motor to improve power supply quality and ensure safe and long-term equipment operation.
