Pneumatic cylinders with guides

It is recommended to use guides for double-acting pneumatic cylinders if the rod stroke length exceeds the diameter by more than twice, as well as in cases where vibrations are present on the object or radial loads can be applied to the rod. This particularly applies to power pneumatic cylinders for presses, for which guaranteeing the alignment of the clamping surface is difficult.

In addition, guides can be used to fix the anti-rotation platform on single and double-acting linear cylinders.

Guides can be attached to any variety of linear pneumatic cylinders.

By the method of installing guides:

• pneumatic cylinders with built-in guides in the body (EM series, seamless cylinders CG2, CG3)
• separate guides for pneumatic cylinders (SC-DH guides for standard ISO 6432 pneumatic cylinders)

By type of guides:

• Sliding guides with radial bearings (more affordable)
• Rolling guides with ball or roller bearings (longer-lasting and precise)
