220 Volt Compressors
220 Volt Compressors
220 Volt Compressors Specialist are air compressor units designed to operate from a single-phase domestic network of 220V, but unlike other suppliers, we offer screw compressors instead of piston compressors.
220v portable mini screw compressors are more expensive, but they possess industrial qualities - high energy efficiency and efficiency class for cost recovery, ensure uninterrupted operation without downtime, and have at least 5 times higher mileage without major repair.
Characteristics of the Electric 220V Compressor
Here you can buy 220 Volt compressors of the SCC-CM2.2-03 model complete with a 60l receiver and wheels for movement. This is the most powerful unit for a 1φ 220v network with 2.2 kW, since domestic networks are almost never designed for higher power consumers.
The performance of the SCC-CM2.2-03 is 300 l/min. Most pneumatic tools consume between 80~150 l/min, so with this compressor unit, one or two guns (spray guns, pneumatic wrenches, etc.) can operate simultaneously. The 60l receiver not only provides an air reserve but also smoothens pressure spikes and allows air to cool more after compression.
What Makes the 220 Volt Screw Compressor Better than a Piston?
-
Energy Efficiency.
The method of air compression in a screw pair is more efficient and requires less electricity. Also, the air output from the compressor is of a lower temperature, simplifying its cooling and moisture removal. -
Low Component Wear and High Reliability.
The screw block is more expensive to manufacture than the head of a piston compressor, but it is also more wear-resistant. With proper use, the working surface of the screws remains undamaged, and restoration, as a rule, after 10-15 years of operation involves restoring the shaft - overlay, trimming, and grinding to the original size. Valves and control sensors provide correct operation. Additionally, in an oil-filled compressor, the screw block has extra protection against friction, corrosion from moisture, and overheating thanks to the circulation of compressor oil inside. The output air is already oil-free. Better output air quality. Unlike piston compressors, screw compressors in assembly contain air filters at the suction, separators for air-oil separation, and a cooling circuit, which simplifies further air cleaning. -
The Screw Compressor is Quieter.
It is much quieter than a piston compressor not only due to the smoother operation of the screw block but also because the engine and screw pair are mounted on special anti-vibration supports, which also reduce the impact of vibration on the equipment itself. Additionally, screw compressor components are typically enclosed in a casing, further reducing noise. -
Continuous Operation.
Whereas piston compressors require regular short and long stops due to overheating, the screw compressor does not need this and can operate continuously 24/7, which is one of its main advantages for industrial production.
