Compressor 30-40 Bar Specialist is a piston-type compressor unit with a belt drive, designed for high-pressure air compression. Air over 30 or 40 atmospheres is used for the production of high-quality PET containers, specifically blow molding lines.
Some types of plastic can be sensitive to the presence of compressor oil in the air — it can cause clouding, loss of elasticity, and cracking in products made of polycarbonate, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, and certain thermoplastic elastomers. To avoid defects, we offer oil-free compressors 40 bar (4 MPa).
The blow molding technology under higher pressure 30-40 atm allows the production of high-class containers — achieving thinner wall thicknesses and lighter bottle weights, as well as creating bottles with more complex geometries (with ribs, curves, etc.).
