A mobile screw compressor is a compact industrial air-pressurising unit mounted on a receiver with an attached handle, designed to be moved around a workshop on wheels. The screw-type electric compressor has far superior performance parameters than its piston counterparts.

Why is it better to buy a screw-type mobile compressor?

Although the price of screw-type mobile compressors is somewhat higher than piston ones, they pay off better in the long run and ensure uninterrupted operation due to several advantages:

• Higher productivity, pressure stability, and 24/7 operation at the same energy consumption. Single-stage compression in the screw block with a 5:6 screw pair is highly efficient, and the output pressure is smoother thanks to more frequent but smaller “portions” of air being delivered. • Low noise level. Most screw compressors are at least 20-30% quieter than piston ones. • Long-term operation. Mobile screw oil-filled compressors are the most durable, as the oil reduces friction, cools, and protects the screw surfaces from moisture. Various mechanical valves (check, minimum pressure, safety) ensure correct operation and protect other elements from failure should a particular component malfunction.
